For seven seasons she was best known for her role as Smallville sweetheart Lana Lang, until she left the show in pursuit of new challenges. Redefining and proving yourself is never easy, but Kristin Kreuk certainly proved that she can make her mark in the acting business beyond Smallville moving onto a guest role in Chuck and starring in the Ben Hur mini series in 2010. She also tested for Mission Impossible 4 and was also set to be a lead in the new Josh Schwartz comedy Hitched, but was then unfortunately replaced.
What’s Next: Set for 2011 is the flick Vampires, which also stars Kevin Zegers, Keisha Castle-Hughes, and Rachael Leigh Cook. Then there’s Kristin’s project with Kendra Voth – Girls By Design, which encourages teen girls to come together and express their creativity and highlights their self worth.

As ladies’ man Tim Riggins on Friday Night Lights, we always knew that Taylor Kitsch was a bit of a charmer. More of the world got to see that when Taylor starred in the 2009 flick Wolverine and we can’t wait for the rest of the world to discover him in his upcoming projects. With many cast members leaving, Taylor was one of the original few still remaining in season four of Friday Night Lights, and produced some of his best work ever on the show.
What’s Next: In Friday Night Lights’s fifth and final season, Taylor is a recurring guest star and we can’t wait to see what he’ll bring as the troubled Tim Rigins. Beyond Friday Night Lights Taylor has been busy making movie after movie! There’s The Bang Bang Club, where Taylor plays real life photographer Kevin Carter and stars alongside Ryan Phillippe. He’s also starring in Battleship alongside Rihanna, as well as John Carter of Mars. Phew!

2010 was a big year for these rockers. Not only did the tour all around the world thanks to their 2009 album Brand New Eyes, but they also lost two band members, Zac and Josh Farro! Away from the band, Hayley also lent her vocals to B.o.B’s track “Airplanes” alongside Eminem. While Zac and Josh are pursuing new music challenges.
What’s Next:Some more touring, with the band heading to South America in February and March. After that, they’ll then head back to the studio to start work on their fourth album. We’re also guessing that Paramore may need to find some new band members seeing as they’re without a drummer right now!

Boy is it hot in 90210, and we aren’t just referring to the temperature either! For a show that was predicted as not seeing a day past its first season, 90210 has proved the critics wrong and is well into its third season and is as popular as ever! When the show first started, the cast members copped a lot of media attention for their antics off screen rather than on screen, but can now proudly say it’s the work they do onscreen that has them in the spotlight. With relatable storylines such as sexual harassment, dealing with parental divorce and discovering your sexuality, it’s no wonder everyone wants a piece of this cast!
What’s Next: There’s the rest of season three to enjoy, but outside of 90210, Shenae Grimes is filming the flick Sugar and makes an appearance in Scream 4. 2010 proved that the Jonas Brothers were just as capable doing projects apart as they were together. Nick Jonas already proved he could with his band Nick Jonas and the Administration, but in 2010 took it one step further and headed over to London where he played Marius in the West End production of Les Miserables. Joe Jonas was a guest judge on American Idol and also expanded his acting chops with appearances on Sonny With a Chance and Hot in Cleveland. Collectively, the guys continued work on their show Jonas L.A. and starred in Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. They also toured to keep up their music.
What’s Next: We’ll see the end of their show Jonas L.A., but the guys will have plenty to keep them busy. 2010 marked the end of Allison Mack as a Smallville regular, but to her devoted fans, she’ll always be Smallville’s sweetheart. Fans were delighted to see her alter ego Chloe Sullivan find love with Oliver Queen and even more delighted to know that Allison wasn’t leaving the show entirely and would still make guest appearances throughout the show’s final season. It wasn’t her work as Hermione Granger that captured the world’s attention in 2010, it was Emma’s stunning pixie cut that got her attention! After 10 years of having to keep Hermione’s trademark long locks, understandably one of the first things that Emma did after Harry Potter finished was chop them off! We applaud Emma for such a bold move and for pulling it off so well. Now it’s time for the world to say goodbye to Hermione and hello to Emma!
What’s Next: There’s still Part 2 of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows if you’re not ready to say goodbye to Hermione yet. Emma will also star in her first post-Potter flick My Week With Marilyn. She’s also collaborating with Alberta Ferretti and producing an organic clothing line. Cool!

If you want attitude then look no further than the Hellcats gang, aka the stars of The CW’s new hit show! Yes the show is about a college cheerleading team, but that doesn’t mean these guys and gals are sweet and innocent. These characters are fierce, empowered, and on the rise – much like the actors who portray them!
What’s Next: Aly Michalka is jugglingHellcats with her music that she shares with her sister AJ. The two are a music duo who go by the name 78violet (formerly known as Aly and AJ). In fact the duo sing the Hellcats theme song! Aly can also be seen in the upcoming flick The Roommate. For years we’ve seen him as the childish and petulant bad boy on Harry Potter, but now with the series ending, it’s time to see what Tom Felton can do and the man he can be. For those following him on Twitter, you’ll know that he’s nothing like the nasty guy he plays and even helps out those in need like raising not just money but also awareness for the Zimbabwe Benefit Foundation! We can’t wait to see what the future brings for Tom!
What’s Next: Aside from Part Two of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Tom also has the flicks Evac, The Apparition, and Rise of the Apes set for release.
For years Jared’s played the good and kinder brother on Supernatural, but in season five we began to see him go down a darker path and by season six, it was if Sam and Dean Winchester had reversed roles since the show’s beginnings. Gone was the empathetic brother reluctant to embark on life on the road as a demon hunter, and was replaced by a man hardened by his experiences in hell and back. It takes a good actor to be able to disregard the character he’s created over the years and virtually turn them into a new character, but Jared does just that and also does it brilliantly.
What’s Next: Jared’s content to relax a little right now and we’re sure season six is keeping him plenty busy, so that’s all he’s got lined up for now.

Bonnie Wright is more than a pretty face. She’s also multi-talented and has a great creative mind. In 2010 she wowed us in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part One, and unbeknownst to us, it also opened her eyes up to the different elements of making a film. It wouldn’t surprise us one day if she made her own hugely successful film because we’re pretty sure there’s nothing this creative young woman can’t achieve!
What’s Next: Aside from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part Two, Bonnie can also be seen in Geography of the Hapless Heart: Sweat. She’s also looking to further her studies and taker a Finer Arts course and study not just acting but also scriptwriting, directing, screenwriting, and editing.

2010 was an interesting year for the Gossip Girl cast, and we’re not just talking about their personal lives and off screen antics. For the show itself, season three was a bit of a letdown for some of the fanbase, but the show managed to redeem itself in season four and captivate its fanbase once again. Now four years on since the show’s beginnings, fans are just as crazy about the show and cast as they were when the show first premiered. Let’s hope it keeps up!
What’s Next: Apart from keeping us intrigued with what’s going to happen next in the scandalous lives of Manhattan’s elite, the cast have been keeping themselves busy with side projects. While Jessica Szhor has the films Wanted Dead, Hirokin, and Art Machine up hers.

2010 was a controversial year for Miley Cyrus, whether it be her love life, family life, or rebellious antics. Some would say it was a part of growing up, and personal life aside, Miley Cyrus was definitely growing up in her career. Not only did we see this through her fashion choices, but also seeing Miley in her first grown up role in the film The Last Song, and seeing her say goodbye to the television show that made her a star - Hannah Montana. If 2010 proved anything, it was that Miley Cyrus is all grown up and living life her way!
What’s Next: We’re sure Miley will continue to grow and figure out who she is on her own terms. In the meantime, future flicks to check Miley out in include LOL and So Undercover.

He’s best known for his roles on Veronica Mars and Moonlight and it’s been a little quiet on the Jason Dohring front for awhile apart from some guest roles her and there, along with convention appearances, but in 2010, Jason Dohring started to make a comeback and proved that he has the staying power to keep on going in the business. Jason kicked off 2010 with a guest appearance on C.S.I and then wowed viewers with a enthralling guest appearance on Lie To Me. If you can’t wait that long, Rupert kicks off 2011 with a guest appearance on the British show Come Fly With Me airing on the BBC January 6!

Is there anything that Selena Gomez can’t do? 2010 was a jammed pack year for Selena, from filming her TV series The Wizards of Waverly Place, to shooting films all over the world, to making music and touring with her band Selena Gomez and The Scene! And if that wasn’t enough, her clothing line Dream Out Loud kept her busy, as did hanging out with friends like Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift! Wow, busy girl indeed!
What’s Next: We’re pretty sure one day Selena will take over the world, or at least come close to it! In 2011, after four seasons we’ll see her show The Wizards of Waverly Place come to an end, but as sad as that may be, it’ll also open more film projects up for her like Monte Carlo. And if acting’s not enough to keep her busy there’s also Dream Out Loud. But first she’ll kick off 2011 by touring with her band Selena Gomez and The Scene!
