MySpace Act Of The Week: Kill hannah

Members... Chicago natives Mat Devine, Greg Corner, Dan Wiese, and more recently Elias Malin make up the underground supergroup known as Kill Hannah. Although the band was formed over ten years ago, their music has remained fairly underground. That is, until now. With the help of a few previous albums, a VERY devoted fanclub, and a lot of raw musical talent, Kill Hannah has recently been blowing up the alternative/new wave scene. Their latest release "Wake Up The Sleepers" has quickly won the hearts of critics, fans, and fellow musicians alike. "Wake Up The Sleepers" has more heart, soul, and talent as a lone album than the entire "Billboard Top 200" list. Listening to this CD is like winning the musical lottery. Every song is full of emotion, energy and infectious rhythms, with the true standouts being "Snowblinded", "Why I Have My Grandma's Sad Eyes" and "Vultures". Kill Hannah spent three years perfecting what is said to be the "greatest album of their career", and there hard work definitley shows. Though they have been through a bus fire, a stolen tour van, and victimized by an elaborate instrument and equipment heist, nothing can stop Kill Hannah. They are more than ready to dominate the modern rock scene, and their time is now. |
