Cameron Marion (vocals, soloist)

Cameron has led a similar life to a lot of the young country artists out there today. She grew up in a small town in the southern United States, has been singing and dancing almost as long as she can remember, and sang in her church choir. She has a clear and pretty voice, perfectly accented for country music. Like a lot of other music hopefuls, she‘s learned the music business is a tough place to be. She moved to Orlando, Florida for a while, and then out to Los Angeles as a member of the girl pop group TKO (that would be Total Knock Out), but the group disbanded and she returned to her country roots. When she tried singing for country record executives, a lot of them informed her she has a more “pop suited“ voice, but Cameron hasn‘t been deterred. Not only has she been honing her songwriting skills, but she moved back in with her parents to save money in order to finance her first record. She won Female Country Artist of the Year in both 2008 and 2009 at her local Carolina Music Awards, and she has signed with an Indie label. Her debut EP is dropping in November, so be on the look out. She might be well on her way to being compared with the current leading ladies of country music, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, and Kellie Pickler.
