Woog Riots - probably the strangest name you can have as a band if you want to hit the charts. But that's not what Woog Riots are trying to do anyway. They just want to play some funny and cool music to the people out there. Silvana from Italy and Marc from Germany (who looks a bit like Noel Gallagher from Oasis) are playing together for about 5 years now. Their band name consists of a sea ("Woog") near Darmstadt(Hessen) Germany and of course a riot. The music is as crazy as the band name. The song "People working with computers" is only one of their crazy songs. They are even singing "click click click" like a computer mouse for several times. The lyrics might be a bit strange, but you still wanna dance to it.

Woog Riots got the chance to be the opening act for a concert from the UK super act The Ting Tings at their Darmstadt Concert in April 2009.

The band has released 2 albums on the label "What's so funny about" in 2006 and 2008. The debut album is called "Strangelove TV" (2006) and the other one "PASP" which is the abbreviation for People, Animals, Society & Places.

Go to myspace.com/woogriots and listen to their 4 songs "Queen of Pop", "Frank Backwards", "Elephants and Mirrors" and "People working with computers".
