MySpace Act of the Week: William Control
Sound is… Members are… Most people will recognize WiL Francis from his work with Aiden, a gothic style punk band, but few have heard of his newest act, William Control. William Control is a sort of alter-ego to WiL Francis, and features dark, poetic lyrics, like “One last kiss before they cart me away, and just take one last look before my body decays”, and heavy electronic music. Although the entire album (entitled Hate Culture) is incredible, the two highlights of the CD are Tranquilize, and Beautiful loser, both of which showcase his large vocal range. Though William Control is yet to receive the same recognition as Aiden, one can expect that it is only a matter of time before WiL FrancisÌs true potential to be a great musician is discovered and his latest act becomes as successful as it deserves to be. WiL first discovered his love for making music when he was 13, and ever since then he has been involved with various bands. He has had anything but an average life, but despite all of his personal problems, he works hard to not disappoint his fans, and continues to share his view that music can, and does save lives.
