Myspace Act of the Week: We the Kings
Sound is…
Members are… Although most people still don’t know about We The Kings, it is only a matter of time before they explode into the superstars that they are destined to become. With an incredible lead singer and lyricist like Travis Clark, We the Kings is able to churn out instant hits like “Check Yes Juliet” and “Skyway Avenue”. Although they list both The Beatles and Jimmy Eat World as musical influences, they have a sound all their own. We The Kings have released three albums so far, but their self titled full-length debut CD is by far the highlight of their career. Released in 2007, it features better vocals, instrumentals, and lyrics than the previously released albums. With a web-show called “The King’s Carriage”, a slot on The Van’s Warped Tour, and yet another tour beginning this October, We The Kings is experiencing a major rise in popularity. With a new album due late next year, they are expected to become one of the top artists of 2009.
