Sound is…
Pop rock/Indie

Members are…
Lights - Keyboards, synth, vocals and other instruments.

You may know her from the songs used on Old Navy commercials such as February Air, or even as the author of a few of the songs from the hit show Instant Star, but the music of adorable young Toronto native Lights has gained a much wider audience than Old Navy enthusiasts.

Working mostly out of her bedroom to create a sugary-sweet form of Indie pop as light and airy sounding as her name itself, Lights has so far used social networking sites to gain her recognition. Her music has a friendly, almost romantic atmosphere to it with its soothing synthesized beats and the soft soprano of its creator, making it no wonder how she has managed to get such a positive result for her hard work. Any of her songs would be appropriately described as beautiful, quirky, uplifting and clever, though my personal recommendation would be the songs "February Air," "Last Thing on Your Mind," and one of her newest ones, "Drive My Soul," if you want to hear her music at its best. Even if pop isn't your ideal genre, and act like hers is certainly not to be skipped!

Lights has toured with popular names such as Cute is What We Aim For, Boys Like Girls and Copeland, and has also appeared in her own comic, a new music video and has recently put out a new EP.
